360 is easier to use for sharing. It used windows media sharing.

place your files in your libraries on your cpu and voila .. it's done.

The latest box is silent.. doesn't red ring and has wireless and hdmi built in.

you can get a package for 200$ that includes the kinect but only 4gb drives ( that can easily be changed in like 5 mins to whatever size HD you decide to put in)

Then your decision is extra cash up front for PS3, or online fees for Xbox live.

IMO, it's hard to go wrong either way.

nothing has been offically released on the 720 yet, so kind of hard.

And for what i use them for now, i am not anxiously awaiting the 800 dollar machines that will have bugs for atleast their first 3 years.

have a Mac too - on ps3 I can bring up macbook address on internet and copy movies from Sites folder to hd. Works slick..
