Hell if not for a blown knee, Tropp is here now.

if you get a team like Tampa that has everything but goaltending i think they would be willing to trade a youth player to get that one missing piece they need

Then id try to get as many 1st (yeah I know duh) to those teams on the cust if you can get say 3 additional 1st hope to dont make the playoffs then pray 1 of those hits the top 10. If pick dont end up that low you can always trade them around on draft day.

In the cap era anything north of 6 mil on the goaltending position is bad cap management. Your starter should be 5 or less and the backup 1 or less.

Seems to me its not as much of backup should be less than 1 as ;

the backup should be an up and commer who can start either in your org or someone elses ie Schnider, Linback, Bernier where having a guy like enroth biron are a waste of money.

Nah, I dont think were going to finish bottom 3. I bet we finish somehwere in the 7-10 range.
