He gets to July 1st, it wouldn't surprise me to see another team try and poach him or see a long drawn out process. Especially if Darcy is still in charge.

IMO he takes a 2 way bridge deal. And In 2 years he and Grigorenko sign matching Malkin/Crosby deals but for way less money. Obviously if Grigo becomes what he should in 2 years

I hate to say I told you so to Devils fans but I told you so. I said goaltending was going to hurt them eventually with their age in that position. Devils won't even make the playoffs. - BuffaloHardHat
even with this slump the devils would still be in the playoffs if the season ended today, they will right the ship
you also said the sabres automatically would be better just for getting rid of roy, and im pretty sure you promised the sabres would make the playoffs

I think that's been blown out of proportion. 2 years 3.5 . He's a stud, not a superstar yet. I said last year they should have tried to work out a 3 year deal with him this off season. Gave him 2+ more million this year and avoid a RFA holdout.
