The "Luongo rule" in the new CBA has made him virtually undtradeable without taking a bad contract back.

In that trade the Canucks get a competent backup, and a great 27 year old top6 pass-first winger.

If anyone is expecting more than that, they'll be disappointed.

I think that's a good trade for both sides, but Yzerman invested into Lindback as a starter so it would depend on how stubborn he is and if ownership can take on that much salary(I'm now familiar with TB's cap situation for next year either).

Yeah, IMO money would be the biggest problem. TB doesn't exactly make a ton of money, and they also have the Vinny contract plus Stamkos. Not to mention the FA signings last summer.
