whats the point in winning when we just lose terribly in the playoffs?
We need to start losing so MG can finally realize that he cant stick we the same team and hop we win a cup... - RF_4eva
Not even going to justify this with an answer.
What's the point of winning? Really? |

Gomez gets a goal and all of a sudden everyone wants to talk about how great Hodgsen is compared to Kassian F&^koff . I won't even dignify this with an argument. Move on. |

Some of us are just giving Hodgson some respect (his goal yesterday was amazing). He's having a great year.
I'm still a big Kassian fan, and would like to see how well he could do when given an opportunity like Hodgson—an extended look in the top6 without being bumped down after a couple mistakes.
Hodgson respect ≠ Kassian hate. And vice versa. |

Move on you loser or gtfo. Hodgson is a weak little b*tch who's clearly stopped his development. What you see is what you get and he's a second liner at best. No team will win with him as a first line center. He's barely improved since we drafted him. The sky is the limit for Kassian. - Boinker
I was going to come in here and ask how Kassian was doing (I dont get to see many if any west coast games) but this is the first thing i read
You cant be more wrong on this. Hodgson skaing has greatly improved. He is very strong on the puck, and it is hard to get him off of it. Clearly stopped his development? His work ethic is outstanding, and his offseason is spent with Gary Robesrts and his training school. Something happened and lit a fire in him last night. You could tell he was pissed.
Anywho, How is Kassian doing, no trolling, Im actually asking?
I think the trade is still early to evaluate but i think it ends up being a wash in the end.

He is not getting the minutes to excel IMO I think he can be better once again AV is screwing with the development of a youngster. I am happy Cody is playing well he just never would have got shot as a center here unless it is 3rd or 4th line. But Van could sure use him now. That is why people are angry over this trade. Kesler is out and Cody would have done well filling in. I to think Kassian will mature and fill the boots everyone expects from him but it won't be under AV or this year if yah get my drift. Hopefully one of 1970 team gets a cup soon as it seem to be a curse is upon our teams Also the nucks could use ehroff right now Canucks are horrible on the pp. all the best to the sabres.
- Greg7705
It was a need for both teams at the time. Kassian was not being given a shot in Buffalo, so it made perfect sense to do so. AV sounds a lot like what fans thought about Lindy here. Stalled players development and couldnt figure out how to use the right players in teh right situations.
All the best, unless your playing Buffalo, Then I will tell you all, you are all terrible people. (But I really dont mean it kind of sort of) |

The Hoff has been mediocre on the PP this year... He can't hit the broadside of a barn with his shot. He's the new Zhitnik. - jochfr
He will get it together he is too good on the PP however on 5/5
I think in the finals run he was -12 how the hell does that happen
We have no PP not even using garrison on the pp. Schoeder on the point ? U gotta be kidding me ! MG is not looking good right now AV not using his products. Cody would have been good on the Point if needed here. But people have to move on we have kass and that is it. He has good hands size and tough just needs minutes and time to develop. People panic here in Van way to quickly. Not sue what Buffalo is like ? |

The exact same, people are already throwing in the towel on Tyler Myers and Marcus Foligno. They are 22-23 years old. We just want winning so badly here and some cant stand the words "Future" and "Potential" |

There are fantastic players available throughout the 1st round and into the 2nd. It's a very deep draft.
Losing is never good. It's pathetic. A team's fans should always want their team to win. - Fosco
Call it pathetic but it has been used throughout the course of history . Teams throwing games to get an easier opponent in playoffs. Losing for first over all draftpicks. We have played by the rules for most of our history and it has got us a SCF 3 times in 41 years. Time to use strategy.
Look at Pittsburg sucking for two a few years . |

Weak defense. He did the same toe drag twice... and the shot barely went in.
Would have been much prettier if he did the first toe drag and on the second one split the defense and then went backhand roof for the goal.
Instead it dribbled in off the goalies glove. |

Stop being bitter.... I love what Kassian has for potential... and we don't get see most of it cause of AV and his retarded line juggling and miss use of players..... BUT you will not see a goal like that from him. And regardless of competition... this is the NHL ... that goal was scored on NHL players. And a def candidate for goal of the year.

AV should be just as pissed at MG, as he should be with him IMO...if that made sense(been up since 7 AM ). MG hasn't spent his cap dollars wisely compared to teams like Boston and Chicago. Not to mention that AV hasn't had Kesler for basically the whole season either. I think a lot of realistic Canucks fans were expecting this team to be less dominant this year and to struggle at times, especially without Kesler and Malhotra which leaves the center position really thin, not to mention that Bieksa is the only proven top 4 RHD. |

I wonder whos going to be on there way out at the trade deadline. This team needs a serious shake-up. Edlers got a no trade clause starting next year. If we move him, It needs to be now. Package him up with one of our goalies and make a splash. |

That would be a horrible move. Unless they get another offensive D and top6 forward in return. |
