That was based on shooting %'s among other things that very few people even udnerstand(that formula is just cray cray ), Anaheim has gotten pretty lucky so far and is due for a letdown, same with Toronto. We'll see what happens though, if both those teams keep it up then obviously Fenwick loses some credibility.

I am old school . I don't even know where to begin to look up Corsi stats but I have an elephants memory . I remember seeing Edler being out deked or screwing up.

I wouldn't know where to find stats or files of Edler breaking his stick about 10 times last year on the PP as he was going to shoot , but i know that happened.

There's more(better) examples but that was an obvious one that I can remember without checking any sites since he's been criticized this year for poor play but in reality his on-ice shooting %'s are lower than career normals and will normalize and he's also playing harder minutes(higher QOC and less offesnive zone starts) but still doing good, puck possession-wise.

Yes I do based on the numbers I believe in and knowing Edler's ability. He's going to be one of those players this year that will get little to no praise for good games, but lots of blame for bad/average games(every d-man has them besides the truly elite guys liek Karlsson, Lidstrom, Chara, etc,) in losses.

Hell, some Hawks fans were all over Duncan Keith a couple of years ago even though he's a very good d-man.

One of them is the Canucks, and they've been getting worse since they started taking them seriously. Gillis relies on UFA's begging to come here, prospects falling to our pick in the draft, and Burke/Nonis players wanting to stay here... Otherwise, his method of evaluating talent is shiite.
