Miller has been good mostly all season and he was at times tonight. Still think he needed to come up with a save when called on.

A good portion of those came when the team was down 9 regulars last year.

He needs to be better. But he also needs to be given time and not put out there in the worst situations when he has no chance at being successful.

Yeah but in those games without Vanek that was our best line.

I think we need to make some changes with our lines. I could see these lines

Vanek - Hodgson - Pominville
Ott - Ennis - Grigorenko
Gerbe - Porter - Stafford
Foligno - Hecht - Flynn

Give Grigorenko a shot with Ennis (playmaker/scorer) and Ott (Checker, not terrible offensively).

Porter has played well so far, has some speed, makes good simple plays with the puck and doesn't give it away often. Third line there might start to click.

Yeah but it was a couple of games, Gerbe is just not consistent. I would love to see Grigo playing on a line with better players, sticking him with Hecht is just goddam awful. I saw Flynn play his first game up and he looked ok, tough, Porter seems solid as well, nothing spectaculr but if they get some games into them, they might pick up some.

Your lines seem fine, except you have Stafford and Hecht on them!

It's not. I'm just sick of hearing about Myers contract and his "regression" when guys like Ehrhoff and Regehr are far from playing exceptional, and get paid a lot of money. It's not Sulzer at under a million were talking about. It's 2 guys at 4 million. 1 is supposed to QB our 30th ranked PP, and another is supposed to be a shut down guy

The whole team is far from playing exceptional.

Even Hodgson who's offensive skills are just disgusting needs to work on his defensive game.

I know that, I guess Im just missing your point. I know that shot goes in from tiem to time, but at that point in time in this game, when your team is gaining all the momentum, I would like to see that save.

It might seem unfair but it is because he was SOO good that first season and I think most of us could deal with him hitting a bit of a hump, but it is like he has hit a Florida sink-hole! That plus with great salary comes great responsbility and the team is looking to him to be a future leader and example setter, but he is suckin majorly bad, but I don't disagree that Ehrhoff and Regher are close, Ehrhoffs' shot has gone and Regher is just SLOW and seems to be absolete.

Even Pommer needs to step it up. I know he had 2 goals the other night and a few SO goals recently, but his overall play hasn't been too impressive lately.

and aside from the first few weeks, vanek is playing no better then alex the great, and we all know what heat he gets from the media

The thing is Myers had a good game tonight. Yet I am listening to the post game show and reading here that he was bad and needs to get his head out of his ass.
