It is really laughable at times. People have hoped on teh myers fault bandwagon and wont get off. He had a good game tonight.

Miller needs to play better than a AHL call up. Props to Peters though, played out of his mind

- ImThatGuy

Lundqvist lost to Enroth before when Enroth was a call up from the AHL. It happens.

They looked pretty good. But porter is a 4th liner at best.
- Smittyx36

Agreed on Porter, but I like his hustle.

Flynn, I mean I know it's early, but he's impressive.

He didn't do anything like that because he is not a he. It's a she. Try to keep up.

He won't do that, has NEVER done that, what makes you think he is going to start doing that ? He is the weakest, softest, 6'10" player I think we will ever see, Chara instills the fear of god into opposing players, Myers, instills confidence into opposing players.

He's a defenseman. That's his job.

It is. No one will mention the fact he had a really good game either. Ehrhoff was invisible and has been benched off the 1st PP unit, yet he is fine. We didn't sign him to a 40 million dollar deal to help the PP or anything. It's ridiculousness how people pick one player and lambaste them

We have played 24 games and Enroth has started 2. That's 12 games in between play time for Enroth which is WAY too much.

Plus a back-up plays more than 1-2 times a month. For the Canes Ellis has started in 5 out of their 21 games (not including tonight).

- BuffSabs88

Enroth was playing the entire lockout, his first game back and he was just awful.

But he was still better than the NHL goalie. According to some people around here, an AHL goalie should never beat an NHL goalie.

He is older and seems to be very mature for his age in a hockey sense. Glad to see him up. Maybe Foligno Grigs Flynn on the 3rd line? Move porter to the 4th with scrub and scrub

Yeah I like Ennis, but those 2 on a line or on the ice together is just asking for trouble
- MikeyOz

Yeah but in those games without Vanek that was our best line.

I think we need to make some changes with our lines. I could see these lines

Vanek - Hodgson - Pominville
Ott - Ennis - Grigorenko
Gerbe - Porter - Stafford
Foligno - Hecht - Flynn

Give Grigorenko a shot with Ennis (playmaker/scorer) and Ott (Checker, not terrible offensively).

Porter has played well so far, has some speed, makes good simple plays with the puck and doesn't give it away often. Third line there might start to click.

Cam Ward is hurt. . .
- ImThatGuy

Ward just got hurt last game and Peters was just called up for this game. Ellis had started all 5 of those games while Ward was healthy.

On a smaller ice surface. He's a goalie that has to be able to play the angles and read the play. A difference in the ice size causes issues with that. It's going to affect his timing among other things.

Yes an NHL goalie should beat an AHL goalie. The Sabres scored 3 goals. The Semin goal was soft. Have to make a save, Peters did.

Miller has been good mostly all season and he was at times tonight. Still think he needed to come up with a save when called on.

So Lunqvist is a bum for having lost to Enroth when he was called up from the AHL. Got it.

Im sorry i just cant believe that. Enroth has not won a game in his last what 13 or is it 15 starts. Im going to assume that none of those are his fault though?

A good portion of those came when the team was down 9 regulars last year.

He needs to be better. But he also needs to be given time and not put out there in the worst situations when he has no chance at being successful.

Never said that. Like Homie said that game was a shutout. The Sabres scored 3 goals had more shots, and scoring chances and still lost.

Grigs looks like he's getting more confident, but he still gets eaten alive along the boards. It looks as if he goes in expecting to lose the one on one battle.
