True, and therein lies the mess this franchise is in right now.

We have a GM who is unwilling to pull the trigger for a team clearly begging for a trade. This one step forward, one (or two) steps back sh!t isn't going to cut it, but Regier is so in love with his players, and clearly over-values many of them, that nothing ever changes.

We will never win a Cup with that man building this team.

That's why I have renewed hope that if this team stinks the rest of the year he will actually be gone. If they're going to fire ruff (who was clearly the fan favourite between the two of them) then they should have no problem firing regier.

This team isn't making the playoffs. Just play Enroth every 3rd or 4th game. Who cares. We all know what the result is going to be.

play enroth 3/10 games on a regular basis and not set him up for failure against the elite teams

Nope, I think Miller sucks on some nights as well, the fact is you are a backup goaltender you are to come in on a semi-regular basis and expected to play at a high level, he is not an NHL goal tender.

If he is going to be a backup like that, then simply just have him in the team in case Miller gets injured and call up Leggio or someone else to fill in for Miller. Sorry but Enroth is just not a good goal tender.

The whole point of rebuilding is admitting you are a few years away This wouldn't be a one year thing. What most people fail to recognize is that selling off doesn't mean looking forward to 2014. Oilers have been at it for years and are still waiting.

He got to play games when 9 regulars were out of the lineup. That's what started the streak. Then he didn't get to play at all for a long time. The coach set him up for failure and nothing has changed to get him back into the groove of things.
