In regards to Darcy's choices . I'm sure Ruff had a lot of say in those choices also.

They just don't have enough elite players to compete night to night, let alone for a damn cup.

But seriously though I second this rebuild... P.S anyone watching the Hawks game? Damn now that's how you build a team. I hate to say it but they are really closing in as the best team of the 21st century (to me they sit second behind the 02 redwings). I know it's a completely different 'era' of hockey but still...

I just don't get this team. They actually show up for one period and put three goals past a 3rd string goalie. The team sleepwalks through the first two periods and peters looks like Patrick Roy out there. So frustrating and sadly, so predictable.

Can only answer last question, Enroth is flat out crap! Miller is our only hope of winning I think on a daily basis and well he got beat today.

The rest, I have no idea how Darcy Regier still has a job, it astounds me, it really does, I would have quit by now, knowing that I cannot do that job

My point about miller is, it's been proven time after time after time after time after time after time. He gets outclassed by flat out losers over and over. He's not worth typing up nearly 7 million in salary cap. Go on cap geek and look at other teams. They all get better bang for the buck. I like miller. It's just been proven, no matter how you slice it. There's no point in him being here.

I know this is a loss but on a positive note I've been saying it for a long time 19 is a budding star, I see this kid getting better every game. What an awesome goal and player he is becoming!

Regardless of what Hodgson ends up getting next year he will have earned it. AND I think he will outplay whatever contract he gets. The kid is a stud and is only gonna get better. Rip that "A" off of Stafford and give it to Cody.

This is true..explains why when Ruff left we only improved have as much as everyone expected. I think pre ruff firing this team rolls over and loses 5-1. Anyone else think that Hodgson backcheck and complete undressing of the hurricanes defense would have happened under ruff? I know it has nothing to do with coaching but nobody showed that kind of effort before, just thinking glass half full to a loss.

play enroth 3/10 games on a regular basis and not set him up for failure against the elite teams

when enroth looks like crap, it's enroth
when miller looks like crap it's a,b,c,d,e..................x,y,z.


and before someone brings up the losing streak for enroth, if he played on a regular basis we all know he would not lose 10 straight with this team

True, and therein lies the mess this franchise is in right now.

We have a GM who is unwilling to pull the trigger for a team clearly begging for a trade. This one step forward, one (or two) steps back sh!t isn't going to cut it, but Regier is so in love with his players, and clearly over-values many of them, that nothing ever changes.

We will never win a Cup with that man building this team.
