I did not know that. I see he scored the smae number of goals, but his assists were down. His total production is down. He also did not impress at the world juniors. His best games were after his team was all but eliminated from medal contention.

amnesty clause in the new cba

Wasn't thinking about that. He would still be owed $10m in buyout though, right? I'm just hoping he can play sometime this year to see if his surgery helped and he can play better than last year. He's still has potential to be very good and I wouldn't be in a rush to buy him out. There are always teams looking to reach the cap floor and he does play even a little better, there may be trade partners available.

deboar was his coach in juniors who gave him a chance there, lou gave him a chance in the NHL as an undrafted player

deboar is still here and loves clarkson

it will be interesting to see what he demands

ok
jvr was for schenn take that out
j stall for sutter scr that one too
B Schenn and Simmons you have me there

but historically older players i.e. the ones we are trading get you picks not prospects that often.

Plus there is no way in Hedes Darcy is trading any of our youth

- hubie

Zhitnik for Coburn
Gratton for Briere
Penner for Whitney....
I know there's plenty more, I just don't wanna do the research

If we traded Pommer,
I think we could get a Briere-type player, plus a good prospect
If I were to equate it to players we have...
Pominville for something like Ennis + Pysyk or Catenacci

- hubie

No worries...

He is listed at 187 and 6.3....That is skinny. Were do you see him listed over 200. I am sure he will put on some weight, but I am not sure he is that big right now. And his biggest issue in the Pros has been his skating.

That's what he was drafted at TWO years ago
I forget where I saw he was now at 200lbs, but I'll try n find it

most modern music on the radio is crap

key word is most

the best acts of today can't get a record deal and if they did, they would not be on the radio

I like these guys though

This Sabres Team is lacking in 2 big areas: Speed and Discipline...
You can't teach speed, and it is difficult to change undisciplined Players to disciplined ones. I have no suggestions for fixes.... have at it, everyone!

Haha, nice!
He is definitely a sniper

I'm really impressed with the progress of Catenacci too
He'll def have to start in the AHL,
But I do think he can be a center in the NHL

Wow I did not know this, thanks. So he was damaged goods when we over paid him, awesome job Darcy.

No wonder the Philadelphia's wanted nothing to do with him.

Wow. That was worse then Kaleta's hit any day of the week. That reminds me, Panik took out Girgensons, but when we played the lightening last week, Panik didn't even get a sniff from any of our guys. I was hoping to see someone take a run at him.

nto when its going to vanek pommer and miller
- hubie

What do you mean?? They are gonna get around the same amount. Maybe 1m less or .5 less each. Or maybe only 1m more. We are gonna have plenty of cap room when those guys go plus leino's buy out.
