I forgot Sulzer too... I like sulzer as a 6th or 7th dman - JVince11
I'm cool with bringing him or pardy back as a 6-7,
But if a team wants to give us a decent pick for either then cya...
We lots of guys ready to come up soon,
An u can always find a cheap 3rd pair guy fairly easily

It is so nice that all of the band videos that you post start with a colonel penn retirement ad and then the band takes a n insulin injection break 5x during their concerts....gotta keep the blood sugar up

i've NEVER seen him get his pocket picked, simply because nobody can catch him. he gives the puck away, usually on a bad pass, but so do all good offensive d-men.
his defensive game is INCREDIBLY unerrated. i watched a bunch of sens games early this year, on other teams broadcasts (pitt, mtl, fla, etc) cuz i had to stream from work....and all anybody talked about was how effective he was in his OWN ZONE. - sensarmy_11
I saw it twice against the Sabres, once by Vanek, other time by Stafford. I don't mean from behind, I mean along the boards in his own end.
why does defense have to only be about blocked shots and hits. lidstrom never had lots of hits or blocked shots, he played sound positional D, and was effective at taking the puck away with his stick.
if all that's important in playing defense is hits and blocked shots, then we smid should have been a norris finalist last year. - sensarmy_11
Good points
Blocked shots and ESP hits tend to be emphasized by Sabres fans bc our defense is weak and offensively oriented (for the most part) and we really lack defensemen that clear the crease and punish the other teams forwards

Since it would be a low 1st, I'd rather that piece be a young player that's already in the league who we'd have a better idea on what he'll become...
After the top10 picks, even the rest of the first round is is such a crapshoot
Plus, I want someone that is ready to join this group of youngsters, not be 3 years or so behind them
If all we can get is picks and prospects,
Then hopefully we can turn them into guys that can help ASAP - jdfitz77
Teams dont trade their young NHL Talent.
U know what grandpa gustavsson said about wishing?

most modern music on the radio is crap
key word is most
the best acts of today can't get a record deal and if they did, they would not be on the radio

Sabres fans attribute blocked shots to hustle heart and fill in the blank adjectives we love in players but than hate the player who has the most of those qualities

One of Karlsson's balls feels like two balls — it's like he has three balls, he has a bouquet of balls!!!
