Saying I lack class because i question someone's motives who has given me every reason too in my book is absurd. If Vis has something seriously wrong i can give a shat, he deserves having people question his reliability. I think anyone is foolish for not doing it at this point. I cold care less if the guy ever plays a game again for the Isles again I can give a shat how good he is. Saying I'm doing something that lacks class for this douche is something I'd expect on this board. You guy's probably symphathized with Kirk Muller and his plight with the Islanders? The poor guy. I can give a shat about Vis, his family, or anything that has to do with the guy. If you do great, all the best. Done with this but I've said that going on 5 times so if you can find a way to continue splitting hairs with the whole class comment and challenge my grip on the English language by all means go on - Cptmjl
Not sure how many times I'd have to explain the difference here for it to get through. If I tell my kid she did something stupid, it doesn't mean I'm calling HER stupid. Smart people do dumb things. People with class can commit classless acts.
So yes, if the team says that the guy has gone home to tend to a family tragedy and should be back by the weekend, I'd say it's classless to call BS on it.

Grabner is a good player who if his hands caught up with his feet he'd be great. With that said the guy does so much good that a lot on here have no grasp of that if he stayed the way he was and scored 20-30 goals a year I'd be OK with it. - Cptmjl

It'd be an interesting fight definitely. Haley is pretty damn quick and fighting for a spot playing his old team. - Cptmjl
No doubt I just think Martin would use his size and just keep Haley at bay while pounding him |

I just wish Grabs would fire the puck from about 20 feet out. He seems more accurate out there! Perhaps he's far-sighted? |

Agreed. He gets his goals, even if he should pile up a whole lot more. And he keeps d-men honest while on the PK. When opposing players start talking about him in interviews and saying that they have to be aware of when he's on the ice, you know you have something there.

Gallant's had his way with Haley this season...Isles should call him up for the heck of it if Haley's in for the Rangers game. They did sign Gallant for the balance of this year not long ago, didn't they? At least it would be guaranteed entertainment... |

I have a lot of hope for Grabner. He'll figure it out. He's not putting the puck into the goalie's chest anymore at least, so it's a start. Almost every other part of his game is good, and he gets the chances. Just needs to find a move...the one he has wouldn't be so bad if he'd get the puck off the ice. - UIF
Problem with hands, is you cant teach that, im sure he could get better with a lot of practice, but he just doesn't seem to have a scorers senses & he has NO MOVES.

OK. I appreciate the kid reference, thanks. I understand what you're saying and you are'nt stupid enough to see why I'd take offense so let it go. I say I can care less about Vis or whether there is anything wrong or not, had it with him and his BS. There are no other players on this team of mifits that have as many "problems" as this clown and if they did they still go to work and do their job(whether they do a good job or not is a whole other story)like any/most of us would. We've all had family tragedies and still worked. God knows i have but i have too in my job. Like i said if he has some real tragedy then oh well, people are not going to believe it. HE created that by being misleading and unprofessional. That's it, move on |

He was, absolutely agree. Minimal risk on the waiver wire. You pick up enough turds one of them is bound not to stink. |

My point is i can care less if it's true. You seem to be missing that, not overly shocked by that to be honest. You are a narrow minded person. Arrogance with nothing to back it up. Once again and for the last time even if there is something that could be conceived as a tragedy Vis created distrust with all of the other completely unprofessional things he has done since we traded for him. You can bet that Goring and Rose will go on about some serious, horrible thing that has once again befallen are great, admiriable player and i will say what the (frank) ever. Once again because I don't care, done with him before he started. If you chose to believe anything Goring and the NY Islanders tell you that's fine. Once again if it comes back some horrible thing has happened to Vis then oh well, he created this. I don't need to reserve any judgement. Do you think i care how you judge me if Vis has a real tragedy? You'll be the first to say, "see I told you so!". I can care less, he's still a douche that made his bed. |
