Right now u have under 4mil in cap room with only 14 guys signed for next season...
Even if u get rid of Luongo and Ballard, that only gives u an extra 9.5mil in cap room...
Do you'd have roughly 13.5 mil to sign 10 guys

Let's say Perry wants to go there, you're looking at about a 7mil cap hit...

Keith Ballard has been very solid this year, playing with Chris Tanev. For whatever reason, Vigneault doesn't like him and has never given him a fair opportunity to be a top 4 guy here, not even when guys have been injured. Hamhuis and Edler have both had long stretches where they were injured, but Aaron Rome gets to move into the top 4, or whoever. I don't think Vigneault's criticism of Ballard is justified. I hope for Ballard's sake that he does get traded someplace where he can play a more prominent role.
