Cloutier is like a ferris wheel. One minute he's on top and thinks Edmonton is a Stanley Cup Champ and the next he's on the bottom selling his team out haha. It amuses me a great deal
RNH hasnt impressed this year.. With Rielly coming up i could stand losing Gardiner. McKegg is a nobody. and a 15-25 first rounder would be hard to swallow but its the Nuge we're talking about.. I'd be fine with it. but we have our own RNH in The Dream
Never happen... and it is pricey.. for a one dimensional player... - JohnFergusonJr
Nuge hasn't had a great season so far, but to call him one dimensional is a little harsh. He is a 20 year old kid in his second NHL season, he will find is way...thankfully not on the Leafs.
120 hits in 50 games is a lot, and no offense to your top 6, but I highly doubt any of them hit as hard as he does. I don't think they get that many hits in a season do they? Maybe 3 of them combined? In any case, he's a good player, and for a 4th, it's basically getting him for nothing. - 13sundin13
Well, I just accidentally reported your comment... I was going to try to think up a witty way to break the news to you, but unfortunately I'm only drawing blanks right now. Instead, here's a smooth jazz remix of Metallica's hit 'Enter Sandman'.

He has less points than Jay McClement.

The Nuge needs to make an appointment with Ovechkin's "accupunturist" Then we're good. (He might also need to see a dermatologist, but WE would be good).
These kids need to AGE is also a problem. Sounds silly but I think that is a lot of the problem. We could just insert Seguin, Hedman, Myers, and Tavares into our lineup and I'm not 100% convinced it would solve everything.
But yeah, turn Nuge into NUKE and we're on to something.
Gagner is your number one, and I offered up our #2 center as a replacement for what you are losing. Plus you get to reunite Gards with Schultz. - Holy_Makinaw99
what about jones. The guy needs to be resigned. A total joke if they trade him or let him go. Just to rub it in their faces he'll end up with Calgary just like glencross. They need gritty players like him and you say trade him - I'm baffled right now. - Springman75
Sorry man I am late to the party but what the heck do we need to spend a couple of million on Jones for? I don't get this guy, he has all the ability to help change the game around but rarely does. As far as I am concerned the Oilers can jetison the entire bottom 6 and start over. Bring in some guys who want to play THEIR role and are not stuck on days gone by!
Sorry, I just do not see Jones as a gritty guy!
