I just checked it out. I don't quite follow..the Leafs are doing just fine according to Fenwick stats , so i don't know where you're going with this.
And they were actually 4-5 at one point, now they're 14-9, so they've gone 10-4 over their last 14?

the big problem in your line up is Dubby, i really dont think he is what will lead us to any sustained success. he can make the save but not the one that is need or the next one as they say. Fuhr could, Kipper can, the good goalies can, i just don't think Dubby can.

Would you do a deal like this. Hemskys been mentioned in pittsburhh every year til he got hurt. Everyteam needs a smid guy blocks alot of shots too. Ide say if he wants to stay its 4 years @ 3 per or trade him

This is his first season as a "starter", damn. Cut him some slack. He keeps them in 2-1 games forever and then on shot 39 one gets in and the Oilers have even less momentum than they did.

Give him some goal support on a consistent basis. You don't win a lot of games giving your goalie 2 goals a start.

Pittsburgh is set to make a good run and need guys to round out there top 9 and have good defensive products. Could see something like hemsky and smid going there for joe morrow olli matta and there first round pick thoughts

not a bad article richard, but your not going to 2nd oor 3rd picks for your bottom six. doubt you'll get a 2nd line winger for hemsky either. now hemsky or smid could maybe get you your 2nd 1st rounder.... but the biggest problem with this article...! If you are already penning in your "big center number 1 draft choice" for your lines next year... your still in the rebuild, miss the playoffs mindset. get a legit number one goalie or a 1b goalie (maybe bernier, dunno) and maybe move some of you "assets" for a young 3-4 defenseman who could develop into a top guy (you wont get a top 2 d-man without moving peices you said you wouldnt move)

Burke is a media whore, but he has put a lot of solid pieces on our team the last 3 years. He made some mistakes, but i think for every bad trade he made, he made 2 good ones. Honestly i wish he were back, providing he stayed away from the press.

They are 22nd on the league. They will drop to match...maybe not that far, but they will drop.

Edit: Leafs are 26th in the league in the Fenwick stats. Even worse.
