i don't mind nicky, but i don't see the value of picking up another d-man on the decline, edm has a few to fill that role or give some young fellows the chance in the farm.

i haven't seen hamrlik play for awhile, not saying he's ineffective, but considering edm current situation and existing roster players, ice time should be given to other d-mans or youth in the farm. tsn analyst states edm needs a top 2 d-man and big power forward, those are the two key needs going into trade deadline, not hamrlik.
