Fukk Horcoff has been out a month now but is still listed week to week - I thought it was 4 weeks max for his Kanuckle-tip. |

We don't need him anyway, we are buying him out!
Well we don't need him unless you look at the Oilers Win/Loss records with him in the line up and without him in the lineup. |

Is he needing this much time off to heal or is he a giant vagina? Jeez - Landers broken (frank)ing leg will be healed sooner than 1 (frank)ing knuckle that could be padded and bandaged FFS... |

Oilers have got to be the biggest vagina team in the last 10 years.... Seriously- factor in man games lost etc... we have to be the highest in all leagues for the last 10 years... |

Try and snag Brian Boyle out of NY and run Eager/Boyle/Brown (Petrell) - Reveen
Spec was just ripping on Petrell, had a point. If Brown can play PK and run around Petrell is pretty much useless.
I'd love Boyle there though. |

Broken knuckles are more than the knuckle itself. Your whole hand is (frank)ed. Last I heard he couldn't grip a stick. Granted we don't need him to score, he needs to be able to take draws. |

I have no attachment to Petrell whatsoever. He doesn't make many mistakes, but he doesn't really bring anything to the table, other than an occasional aptitude for breaking up a pass on the PK.
I love Jones, and I like both Harti and Pajaarvi's potential, but physically none of those three (nor Horcoff/Belanger) are terribly imposing. Which brings me to the conclusion that in the go-ahead we need a bruising 4th line at the very least. Eager-Boyle-Brown could be that bruiser line. |

Maybe it'll be some kind of Rookie of the Year deal and he'll come back shooting the lights out. |

Brown is a nice middle weight guy that can play some hockey as well as scrap. As long as he stays in his weight class he is very affective. Outside of this, not so much, but sorry to see him leave the Leafs, loved his energy, one of the few that has any. |

The thing is up until recently heavyweights really were not a worry. It was the Dorrsetts, Rousell, Clutterbuck, Jordan Nolans of the world that caused us problems. |

Another power forward that could be a decent pick would be malone.
Biggest issue will be A. His health and B. his salary.
His salary isn't bad, that's the issue. 4.5mil cap hit, but only 3mil this year and 2.5mil in real money the next 2 years. Not sure he's a guy TB would move. |

He's realistically a name I thought would be bandied about as a piece in a Luongo deal. Helps out both teams. Obviously Luongo's stock is incredibly high right now but last April I thought a deal surrounding those two was a no-brainer. |

If we came out of next summer looking like this:
Stewart-Nuge-Eberle
Hall-Gagner-Yakupov
Hartikainen/Pajaarvi-Horcoff/Belanger-Jones
Eager-Boyle-Brown
Streit-Smid
Schultz-Schultz
Petry-Fistric
Peckham
Dubnyk
I'd be enthused. |

True. I love the idea. I just wonder whether one of Harti/Pajaarvi/Jones needs to be upgraded for a bigger hitter. Get a guy like Cal Clutterbuck.
Pajaarvi-Horcoff-Clutterbuck
Eager-Boyle-Brown
bottom 6 looks sweeeeet |
