My good friend is a kings fan. We had this discussion last night. As of right this second, Sutter is giving Bernier a chance to be the #1 guy for this season. It's been on their telecast. I'm sure it's just a kick in the ass to quick but the farther you go back the more lopsided the starts are in favor of quick. As I said, the last 10 games they have shared starts. When has tht happened before .? It hasn't.

Quick's back isn't fully healed IMO. Bernier's play allows Quick to get better and there's enough time to see if he's able to get back to his former self before the deadline. There's still a shot Bernier could be moved this year. He won't be moved here but there is a chance he gets moves elsewhere.

They just gave Quick that big extension, so wouldn't it makes sense to move Bernier now before the situation becomes like the one in Vancouver
Maybe what they are actually doing is showcasing Bernier so they can get the most value back for him?

Anything south of 4.5 mil for 5/6 yrs and I'd be ok with it. I'd rather see someone a tad bit younger though.

I am confused

5 was too many in my opinion.
I would have been okay with 2 or 3.
Tired of them always using Kaleta as an example.
For Don Cherry , he should keep his mouth shut. He is becoming old and senile.
He doesn't even know what he is talking about nor does half of the national media.
Kaleta has drawn the most penalties in the league this year per minutes on the ice.
For Cherry and the media that keep pounding the drum that Kaleta never fights, well he has been in 21 fights in his career.
All that and Kaleta is one of the best forward shot blockers in the league and best pker's!

clowe deserved something for coming off the bench that is not what they want to encourage in the NHL.. but the Benn could easily be taken as an intent, it was not during a hockey play at all and should have been some kind of suspension.

Not too many people are defending the hit. Were mad because Brianna Richards faked his death on the ice to get a major called and missed 8 seconds of game clock. If he sits out the rest of the game I have no issues. But he laid there "In shock" for too long. He's a faker. He didn't dive but he faked an injury

Dude, everyone can sit here and play neurologist all day, myself included. I saw what I saw. He was grabbing every part of his body, and skated off the ice like he was barely conscious. Then he's right back on the ice. Doesn't seem like the training staff was too worried about his head being snapped back eh?
