Funny guy. this, last I checked, and taken with a grain of salt, is a hockey site. The game is discussed and unless I missed something, opinions are allowed. Every player in the NHL (for the most part) has charity involvement, its good for PR and generally a good thing to do... The difference here my astute friend is that you have a guy through his actions on the ice, is on the road to ending another players career and using your logic, eliminates THAT player from doing his said civic duty. Players like Kaleta and Cooke should not be given the privelge of playing in the best league in the world and I gaurenf'ntee, if he's not in the NHL, making millions, he's not the swell guy you make him out to be... perspective... As for the CBA comment, again, good one, well thought out...
Oh and one other thing, Brad Richards is a whiny little sh*t but lay him out the legal way (please). - geta02it
You did. So stop talking |

kaleta is a solid person. i was at a bar with my brothers wife and her friends for her birthday. kaleta and gaustad came up and sang happy birthday to her and then party with us. bought us drinks all night then invited us back to his house to keep drinking. we had a blasts. totally down to earth and genuwine dude.
another cool kaleta story.....jambo in the hills 2 years back, my buddy has sun burn on his feet (dont ask me how) well he gets stuck far away from the camp site so patty kaleta comes up to him and asks him if something is wrong. he explains his situation and kaleta piggy back carrys him bout 10 minute walk to the camp site. - joshs
So they paid to get a bunch of girls drunk and then invited them to come home with them. I know lots of guys who are nice like that
Kidding though, I'm sure he's a decent guy off the ice. |

Kaleta is the definition of scum...if it wasn't for Buffalo he wouldn't be in this league - broadstreet11
In that case, your entire team from the 70's are SCUMS! |

If anything, Richards embellishment really reminds of Kaleta embellishing when Brown hit him from behind. The glasses is reflective enough that Kaleta should have seen Brown coming and he should have expected something.
Also, he was hit in an upright position and he has the audacity to fall to the ice like he just got shot with a bazooka. What a drama queen.
Not to mention how he went into the downward dog within like... 3 seconds. He's hurt but has time to do his yoga? I mean C'MON!
(Just kidding. I just wanted to see how this strong of a prescription for homer glasses felt) |

Dude watch Richards antics on the ice. He grabs his shoulder, wrist, neck head, legs, johnson, everything. Then skates off like his shoulder is out of place. He's a complete douche. |

A hockey player who sees someone coming after him, and then turns his back should be ready for a hit....Kaleta barely even nudges Richards on this one. Undeniable.

This^. This is why I'm fuming about the decision on the Major. It was going to be called a minor before he flopped around like an over paid fish and threw his gloves and needed a defibrillator to save his life. So they kick Kaleta out of the box and call it a major. Low and behold Richards misses 8 seconds of game clock - sbroads24
Mike Brown hit Josh Georges from the side into the boards a week ago and got a major and a game. I wouldn't bother trying to make sense of how the refs are making calls this year. |
