Well, the Rangers only have two players (according to ESPN)... Rick Nash and Lundqvist.
- envyonthecoast

...and we got Nash from our minor league team cause apparently Columbus doesn't have an NHL team

Thank God we were able to get anything for Rupp, turns out we got a solid Torts type of guy in Powe we needed, a la Mitchell last year.

Asham is really wearing on me with his groin. This is just the type of game we need him for & he's out AGAIN! At least Philly traded the hair puller so there's 1 less goon on the Flyers. Still, Stu better be ready to go tonight.

I actually don't think any of the flyers are gonna go after him, certainly not Rinaldo.

I'll admit his espn exposure is great especially the commericals. I died at the Swedish Chef one but this is pretty good too.

Philly is not in a position to play a goonish game. They need points just like us and I'm sure they are saying to themselves not to take stupid penalties.

did anyone hear Stephen A. Smith's rant about whose win streak is more significant, Blackhawks or Miami Heat? he says the word "tie" about 80 times...(frank)ing jackass. ESPN doesnt have the right to talk about hockey

It was awful....he didn't (or didn't know how to ) distinguish between the Hawks points streak and the heats winning streak which is a stupid comparison anyways b/c they have two completely different systems of tabulating results....and he went on to explain how the OT works which explains how there are no more ties but yet still went on to say the Blackhawks tied 3 games......the anchor was too scared to correct him or she didn't know what was what....and anyone who thought he'd say a hockey streak is more impressive than a basketball streak is lost anyhow....

Yea between him and that other writer Chandia or whatever, they always brign race up which in itself is racist. They had an article that something is wrong and changing with the NFL now cause Lovie Smith didnt get hired and it was because he is black. When most people who don't look at race thought the NFL is changing a bit with Lovie not gettign hired because it showed that teams are looking at getting offensive minded head coaches with the new pass happy NFL and that it will be harder for defensive coaches to get hired as HCs. These guys are just poop-stirers.

Looks like all systems go for tonight...Bickel in again...I really hope Kreider figures it out...move JT Miller to center with Kreider and Gabby/Pyatt and banish Boyle as a 4th line winger...

I actually think they should just keep Kreider in the AHL. Let him get 20-25 minutes a night on the 1st line. Torts heaving play 4 minutes a night up doesn't do Kreider or the Rangers any good.

The Flyers have only given up 3 PP goals over the last 12 games on 46 shorthanded situations. If there is a time for the Rangers PP to come up big, it's tonight. I think it could decide the game.

If he finds his game and plays better than he did when he was down during the lockout they will bring him back and Boyle should be given the Petr Prucha treatment...that botched pass on the 2 on 1 while shorthanded was the last straw for me...I'm pretty positive when it comes to players but enough is enough...

I'm liking their PP recently, production is starting to increase, it lifted us to a win vs Buffalo after a dreadful 2nd period, its what helps you win games when you don't play particularly well 5 on 5 for 60 mins...

Guess we don't have to worry about any speculation of us getting Stephen Weiss. Sucks for him to be out the rest of the year. Will severely limit his next contract.

Yeah, he must be faking it.
I still can't believe people thought he was faking it. Hopefully, he's okay and can play tonight and this is just a precautionary checkup (assuming he's with trainers).

Gilroy maybe used as a forward tonight if Richards can't go, per Zipay.

He was the first to leave the ice and after the hit, Micheletti mentioned that Rammer was treating his back in between shifts, so who knows how he feels....

Saw that...so I guess you move JT Miller to the middle of one of the lines if Richards is out? Too much respnsibility? Boyle in between Callahan and Pyatt??
