if the penalty on Kaleta was a 2 minute minor, didn't the Rag$ still score 2 goals quickly on the 5 on 3, so the major wouldn't have mattered? - jambodelta99
This is hockeybuzz, facts aren't allowed. Funny cause they actually scored a shg which wouldn't have happened had it been 2 minutes |

lol nope its pop we say car weird ? - Jenness77
Born and raised WNY,
But in the "pop" vs "soda" debate...
It should be called soda
Think about it
It's actually called "sodapop"
Now think about every other word we shorten...
My name is Jason, shorten it it's "jay"
Philadelphia becomes "Philly"
Radical becomes "rad"
Lottery becomes "lotto"
And there's a thousand more examples I could give...
There are exceptions, like "burger" for instance, but it's like 100 to 1 that we cut Off the last part of the word and not the front

Hahaha....
U an only go around in circles so much before the nonsense starts...
Check out Garth's blogs...
It almost always gets to the point where we start taking about beer or posting concert videos, pics of girls, etc....
And now that Lindy Ruff got fired, that's one less big topic we have to debate on a daily basis
Sorry us Sabres fans kind of took over in here
Back to hockey...
What's going on w the Rangers this year?
With games being every other day I don't get to see as much from other teams as I usually do...
I thought NYR would be right at the top of the standings though
What's been their issues? |

That's a 2 minute penalty for pushing from behind. The penalty late in the game where the ranger guy crushed #63 from behind was much worse. After Richards got hit from behind he squirmed like someone that was seriously hurt then is out for the next shift. These guys are hockey players, they could take a bullet if they wanted & continue a play. Give me a break, he faked it for the 5 min. Penalty. I bet Kaleta only gets a game & so should the Ranger player that got called for hitting from behind

The general consensus has been the struggle of the organization to adequately replace the depth that has departed and the failures of the PP, Hank not as sharp, somewhat of a down year by McD...and their top players not really performing to expectations...
Nash has been fantastic, they are 10-5-1 with him in the lineup including 8-1-1 in their last ten with him in. The other theme is not being able to keep the lineup together. Ever since Richard's flu case in training camp, it seems they are always dealing with something from a health standpoint so its been frustrating. They show flashes then have 2 periods like last night that make you scratch your head...its not all lost, its about who gets hot at the end, maybe with a move or two at the deadline and improved PP performance (3 goals in their last 2 game) there is still time to make a run...despite their inconsistencies, they are a point out of 8th with games in hand on just abolut everyone going into a critical stretch of 5 games in 8 nights.... |

in the old days, before the instigator rule, idiots like Kaletta would be dealt with, without the need of suspension. This guy is habitual and needs to be dealt with, before he ends someone's career or life. He needs to be beaten, and beaten badly. |

Correction you mean if you threw yourself head first into the boards, if Richards is that weak on his skates that a tap on his lower back will send him flying then he needs to be traded to the nearest bar league, what a joke, next game kaleta should really hit him from behind and show richards what it's like to be really injured instead of faking an injury. - moke16
Did Richards fall into the boards a bit too easily? Yeah, probably. Did he embellish the injury? Yeah, I think he did. But, he's not the first player to do that ... nor will he be the last. Hell, most of them do nowadays.
It doesn't take away from the fact that the hit/shove/push/crosscheck (whatever you call it) was simply a VERY careless play by a player who's had a few of these incidents in the past. There was just NO NEED for that shove, and Richards embellishing is besides the point.
These are EXACTLY the kind of plays that the league is looking to get rid of. Kaleta (especially considering his history) should be gone for at least 5 games, imo. |

At least our team faces them, face forward. Kaletta needs a good sh!t kicking! If he's such a man, then why doesn't he drop his gloves against a good middleweight or heavyweight? He picks on scorers and midgets. I want to see him get pounded, he needs it! |

Has the firing squad been requested yet to deal with Kaleta?
I thought for sure that would have been the case by now.
On the topic of the players respecting each other, please, give it a rest.
Have you not been watching hockey for the past 7 years?
Respect for fellow players has been gone for a long, long time.
The instigator rule, as one poster commented, certainly made sure of that. |

I love what Kaleta does to other fan bases. He has never faught anyone smaller, most have been bigger than him. Hes not that big of a guy in the first place, 6' 1 200 lbs.

A little proof for you blind Also Kaleta pisses most off yes, he deserves the suspension coming to him for this hit yes, but Kaleta has done a great job at hitting clean lately. This hit is by no means clean, but it was very much a fluke. And he has only been suspended twice for when he wasn't. He's not as dirty as you all seem to think he is, just really good at pissing everyone off. |
