This is so simple guys.....

Kaleta was out of line - Richards was hurt, but playing 2 minutes later...

Kaleta gets 3 games....just in time to return for the Rangers game next week...from there the Rangers can send whom they need to out on the ice to confront Kaleta, who will have to drop his gloves and fight....

He either defends himself or takes his beating - and we can all move forward with the season....

Based on the way the NHL discipline system currently works? I'll say yes, but who the hell knows? The Zolnierczyk hit on Lundin is almost identical to the Torres hit on Hossa. One gets 4 games the other gets 25. I understand that Torres is a repeat offender, but c'mon that's a BIG difference in length. I'm fairly certain Shanny flips a coin to determine if there should be a suspension and then spins a wheel to determine the length.

This ends my comments on the Kaleta-Richards hit because I'm tired of it. Can we get back to hockey now? Can we all agree to disagree and go back to our respective corners?

okay all pictures and stupid poop aside...your team is absolutely horrible and has one of the lowest levels of talent in the league if not the worst. your roster lacks so much heart and skill that your coach for like centuries got fired because of them. you guys have 2 less points than us and 3 games played more. you WON'T be making the playoffs for a 2nd consecutive year. nobody on your roster is worth anything via trade and your GM is underrated in the "giving out the worst contracts in the NHL" department. your roster is a bunch of lower-tier 2nd liners and 3rd liners with vanek. the bills suck too. buffalo is a cursed sports city.

Correction you mean if you threw yourself head first into the boards, if Richards is that weak on his skates that a tap on his lower back will send him flying then he needs to be traded to the nearest bar league, what a joke, next game kaleta should really hit him from behind and show richards what it's like to be really injured instead of faking an injury.

Being serious for a second, and putting the debate over Richards' reaction aside, those hits are the worst type of hits, IMO, because of the positioning of the player going into the boards. One of these days, somebody isn't going to get up from one of those if they don't remove that hit from the game.
