I'm not convinced Iggy would sign anywhere else. I'm pretty sure that Calgary would be given the opportunity to match any offer he was presented. Just a feeling.

As far as the non call on Stajan, there was at least one brutal non tripping call as well when I beleive Hudler was tripped in front of the bench. It happens.
Was a littel skeptical about the McGrattan signing. He seemed to add a little spark to the guys. I'll probably take some flack over this comparison but much the same way Chris Simon did when he joined the team in 03-04.

I don't see what Calgary would have to offer in matching another team for Iggy? If Iggy leaves it will not be about money, it will be about trying to win. I don't think Calgary has much to offer for the latter.
I don't think ownership will ask him to waive and i doubt Iggy will ask. I do think he will leave as a UFA at the end of the season.
