I think your joking, lol. I know how much a win over Vancouver means to you guys especially a non shootout win because it doesn't happen much over Vancouver. I was watching the game and being embarraced for the Flames until Iginla scored that fluker because of how the Canucks were still outplaying them despite there strange "situation", etc. Then laughing at the response to the fans, announcer and players on the ice once the horn sounded, It actually gave me joy inside, like giving a disabled kid a gift at Christmas time.

Speaking of disabled.....

Actually smart guy, the Flames were 3-2-1 against the 'Nucks last year and all time are 122-81-33-9. So suck it!

Just a little perspective....the Flames are 6 points back of the "All Mighty" Canucks right now with 1 game in hand. Not to mention their perennial MVP has been on the shelf for well over a month....

Good thing you guys kept Luongo eh?...Schneider is league average in SV% and below league average in GAA...might have been worse had you shipped Lu.

Dude, are you retarded? Are you getting gifts at xmas?

Enjoy it while you can "gunner!" Your boys are right where the Flames were 3 years ago; aging core, falling further down the contention ladder and no prospects worth a poop. How's Kesler? Is little baby boy ever going to play hockey for more than 2 weeks at a time again? Or is he having too much fun hanging out Rick "Mr. Glass" DiPietro?

Keeping laughing dumba$$

When I say non shootout wins don't happen much reciently, that what I mean, were not talking about the 80's buddy lol. Last year was pretty good for you Flames better then the recient years going 3-2-1, you didn't win the season series though, and haven't won a regular season series since 2001 when Iginla won the scoring title.
The Canucks went 3-2-1 last year aswell against the Flames. What was the difference? the Canucks 3 wins were ROW's (regulation OT wins), The Flames had 2 Row wins, and 1 shootout win. Canucks outscored the Flames 18-12 last year. So, the Canucks and Flames both had 3-2-1 records, but the Canucks won the season series. That was a good one though, saying the Flames were 3-2-1 to make it look like they won the season series, lol. We know they only won 2 out there 6 games against Vancouver in non-shootout ways. To review, basically I said, the Flames don't beat the Canucks much reciently in non-shoot wins, then you give a misleading record for last year even though they lost the series and give me an alltime record, lol buddy when the Flames were good I wasn't even watching hockey, just like when the Islanders or Leafs of the 60's. It's ok Timmy, yes the Flames are really better then the Canucks, lol

I wouldn't mind seeing Taylor for 1 more game. He may just be getting comfortable now. But, glad to see Kipper is ready to come back.

I have no idea what game you were watching.

Who cares about the travel. The Canucks dominated the majority of the game and deserved a better result. Sure Calgary played tough in the third, who wouldn't in a tie game, when all it takes is a lucky bounce or a goalie whiff.

Calgary particularly started to play better once they had the lead. I am at a loss with some of the comments here.

What game were all of you watching?

Thoughts on the goalie situation? With Kipper back will they roll with three goalies on the Heat again? Could they keep an extra in Calgary for a little while? I don't remember where we are at contract wise and if that's possible.

Sorry, man, not the case here. The Canucks have played many games this year where they got points they did not deserve.

Still don't know what game you were watching.

Canucks 4th line had at least two full shifts in the Calgary zone.

The time of possession was nearly 2:1.

I saw the game bounce back and fourth; no dominance one way or the other. But you're right in saying that is was a lucky bounce/whiff that won us the game.

Maybe try trading Irv to Carolina since Ward is out. Who the hell is their back up anyway?

Considering the Canucks didn't arrive until 2 hours before game time and that they played the night before, they came out pretty hard. Canucks were the better team though 2 periods and should have buried the Flames. They ran out of gas in the third and didn't capitalize on earlier chances. Flames squeaked one out here.

2 hours before the game instead of what 2.5?? Gimme a break these guys are pro`s. 2 games in 2 nights was probably the bigger factor. Either way that`s part of a shortened season!

Really too bad they had to blow 2 contracts on Taylor and MacDonald. Think MacDonald has any trade value now? I want Taylor to back up.

Reports say they were supposed to fly out the previous night, then hadto wait around the airport all day not knowing what time they were going to fly out. They had no time for a practice or anything. Went straight to the rink from the airport. I know they're professionals but a day like that would really mess with things and I think it was a factor. They were still the better team for a lot of the game but clearly ran out of gas in the third.

Teams wouldn`t normally practice in that scenario anyway. I could understand if they were on a road trip, or if the flight was further. In the end these excuses are weak.

I'd rather keep MacDonald until Taylor shows they have more to offer...like I mean neither Heat goalies are too young with Brust(29) and Taylor(26)...not exactly MUCH younger than MacDonald(33).
