For Iginla Feaster will put it in ya 2013. That is the slogan cuz you will get raped if you acquire him. - dbell646

Look at what people are thinking:
"on HFBoards, it seems like a lot of fans like Olli Maatta, Tyler Kennedy, and an unconditional 2013 1st round pick for Jarome Iginla. that includes Flames fans."
The other guy says something really stupid here:
"They don't have enough prospects to give up unless Sutter is available."

In hindsight it wasn't expensive, but at the time, it was. |

Agreed. Armstrong was hard to part with....Christensen and Esposito were not garbage at the time as well. |

I'd do that. Maatta unknown TK would be addition by subtraction and the 1st will be late 1st. As long as Despres Morrow and Pouillot aren't involved I'd consider it - dbell646
i'd be willing to part with morrow to pick up Iginla. We have a plethora of prospects at defense. |

Yup. - Gunner Staal
Scoring 40/50 pts a year puts him in the top 6 on this roster. Guess you move Cooke back down but your still playing TK/Bennett |

I think that I would be fine with that. |

Morrow is close to being ready for a full time job. Iginla has about 2 months left on his contract I'd pass |

I'd keep Maatta/Harrington/Despres for sure. From all our prospects I'd be more willing to give up on Dumoulin and Pouliot.

Exactly dbell. 2 months of contract ONLY.
But let's please not trade Maatta for him. |

And if Dupuis didn't turn into what he did, and Esposito panned out or that first round pick did, then it would look pretty bad in hindsight.
Literally, everything we gave up combined ended up being worse than Pascal Dupuis somehow. |

pass on pouliot bc we traded staal for him and im not trading him away yet... plus pens could have gotten a (frank)ing winger at 8th pick.....
and from all the reports i have read on dumoulin it sounds like he is an orpik replacement.. one of two defensive defensemen in the org |

I remember listening vividly of Pierre Maguire( I don't consider him to be an elite or good analyst) " Pittsburgh gave up way too much here" it's funny what time tells. I think the only disturbance was maybe Armstrong leaving and he was liked but it was minimal seeing what was coming back. |
