I wouldn't exactly say he's been lazy, he's been much better defensively this year. He was lazy when he was scoring 35 goals. If he went back to a one-dimensional game and started to score a little more regularly everyone would be on his case again for not playing defense. The guy can't win in this city.

Kadri should definitely be playing with Kessel. Killing it on the draw, creating something out of nothing all the time, etc.

That being said people are way over reacting..it is a one goal game with lots of time left. Stop crying.

I'm pretty surprised at how well Kadri has been playing this year. I didn't really even see him play this well in the AHL. I didn't think he had it in him.

That was probably Kadri's worst defensive shift in a long time....yet, still some great plays on that shift from that line.

I wouldn't exactly say he's been lazy, he's been much better defensively this year. He was lazy when he was scoring 35 goals. meh, i never had a problem with his game before. as far as i'm concerned, he doesn't get paid to be a defensive specialist. any improvements to his defensive game are a bonus, but he gets paid to put pucks in the net.

his play has been flat out lazy. he doesn't chase down pucks, he coasts around and waits for them. he's had a string of poor turnovers that just reaks of half-assing it. his play has become so one dimensional.. it doesn't even matter who he's on the ice against.

his supposed defensive play has been nothing special. he tends to get in peoples way every now and then.

Kadri is starting to pull defenders up towards him.

I like how Komarov makes space and I've never had a problem with MacA, but he needs a true finisher with him.

And yet he's somehow second on the team for points. What does that say for the rest of our team?

I'm scared to see how things are going to get around here when Kadri inevitably has a few bad games in a row, considering the way he's been praised as a god lately.

Steckel and toe-drag is hopefully two things I never hear in the same sentence again
