I was talking pre-season rankings...Oilers are talked up before every season though. They are not the next Blackhawks or Penguins. Crosby wasnt in last place in his 3rd and 4th years in the league.

Well from what I see it looks like he's telling them force the play and skate the puck into the offensive end which always results in a turn over. I never see them dump and chase which would be the best strategy for them since they have a fast team, right? Just keep it simple and maybe watch some Canuck playmaking video cause their passing is awful. Might want to teach them how to shoot first though..

Krueger just needs to go, Ive given him his chance. His style just isnt working. Now is the best time to get Ruff. A guy with experience and knows how to get thejob done. Tambi and Lowe can join him too cause this team will never win with them at the healm

i can't believe that if he's available, ottawa isn't one of the teams going after him the hardest.

edm doesn't need him, they aren't really going anywhere, and wpg already have a couple of good puck movers.

the sens situation is ideal. when they're healthy, they don't need him, so a 1 season rental would be perfect. they can easily absorb his cap hit without sending anything back to new york, and they have the prospects to get a deal done. and more than any other team, they need a puck mover on the back end desperately. they're gonna start getting healthy soon....michalek and anderson shoudl be back this week, spezza in 3-4........the only piece they're missing is a puck mover. not saying visnovsky is gonna make them a cup contender, or replace karlsson, but right now the best offensive d-man the sens have is Gonchar

the problem with liles is that you don't know if you're gonna get the "colorado liles" or the "toronto liles". he was very good for the avs, but hasn't been a very effective player in toronto at all. if you get the toronto version, then you're paying 4 mil/yr, for the next 4 years, to a guy who's inconsistent offensively, and not strong defensively.....so basically, komisarek, with a few more pts.

i wouldn't give up much for him.

It would have to be a trade of one of the pending UFA's from Edmonton's D. Edmontons not going to be able to keep Visnovsky with his wife wanting to be in California and they are not making any effort to make a playoff run. So to get him as a rental would have to be either part of something larger or temp change of people each team can't sign.

Unless the rumors aren't true about how picky his about location.
