I think they might never get beyond mediocre... You see good draft picks excel when they have experienced guys playing with them like Couture and Skinner. It takes real superstars like Ovi and Tavares to do it themselves. The Oilers young guns have no one to nurture them.. Ryan Smyth isn't cutting it. A little defense and goaltending would certainly help.
