Komi was asked a few days ago if he'd accept a trade - on camera. He said the vanilla "I just want to play" - same as his last quote from Masters.

Strickland used this to imply he wants a trade. combined it with fact Leafs need to clear roster spot to bring back Frattin, and fact that LEafs have an accepted trade list from Komi which they have always had.

And voila, Strickland gets tons of hits and new followers on twitter.

I would love to see the footage from the practice where Komi shattered his stick and got fibreglass in the eye......wonder if it was similar to when Komisarek and Leafs coach Hunter fought at practice.....ie. a heated disagreement between a member of the current staff and komi perhaps?

Why would Strickland report about a list that's months old unless it was a new one? How does it make any sense for him to report a list that is, by your account, old and from June and then follow that up by saying he would accept a trade anywhere?
