Komisarek could have told Strickland himself that he'd accept a trade anywhere (which I guarantee didn't happen). That still wouldn't in any way mean he asked for a trade, just that he'd accept one.

Both Dreger and Strickland have said it. Just because they didn't say the exact words "Komisarek asks for a trade" doesn't mean they didn't say it. They just said it a different way that apparently you can't understand but since you denied it from the first minute, you've dug in and refuse to accept the facts.

False. They did not. One reported there is a list, and you assumed it means he asked for a trade. One reported that he expects is to happen and you assumed that meant he asked for a trade.
