You know damned well, that at least two teams will have less wins than we do, but still will be ahead of us. I hate the loser points, but I'll take them, instead of regulation losses. The damned stinking Habs and Sens are living off of them! - PrinceLH
Needed to edit this. I meant to say less wins. Damned Devils have 5 of them. Eliminate the loser points and we're second in the division, not fourth.

Looks like Brian Burke after he's had a few to many. I heard that's how he fleeced Sutter in the Phanuef deal, that they were out drinking together. - GCHonda
It is definitely the force been developed for many loser years from the Habs... the force is strong even tho I like to see them win more than Boston, Islanders, Philly, NJ, etc...
Probably because we can beet the Habs even when they are good... we own the Habs.. so the hate is less day to day... but deep down we hate the Habs more than anyone.. forever..
Probably why I love french women... and they have always.. went over the top for me...
It is that love hate... opposite attraction... boy did I have a great time... with French girls all over the country... thinking about them gets me all excited.. only nice things to say about the ladies...

Burke probably got "Fresh" with him... - Fruitcakenipple

I also heard that b4 the 09 draft, Burke went drinking with Bruins GM Chiarelli, Burke I hear almost fleeced Chiarelli in a deal for Kessel that didn't involve 2 first picks but I guess Chiarelli can hold his liquor better than Burke or Sutter cause he was to smart for Burke.

Since the 05 lockout u are 1 game up on us. I have a bet with a buddy and was tied before this season over that period.
I am divided on that... Kadri still needs protection.. although I wouldn't mind him playing with Lupul.. it could actually regress his game with too many offensive thoughts...
Also since you are working with two main pairings.. that work...
Kessel - JVR
Grabo - Lupul
Kadri - Frattin
Would probably be better.. to gain offence...
You put Lupul on Kadri's wing and he might forget his D role... but don't disagree with you... that it should be tried...
I just think Lupul will ratchet Grabo's points up.. and then he is trade-able.. as part of a deal for a #1 center... - DoctorNHL
Leafs need to do something. The Grabo Kuli and Mac trio are slowing us down. All good players but they seem to lack the chemistry that the other lines have. Now Bozak is a conundrum, he's a decent player as well but he prevent us form reaching the next level. I bet Nonis is working the phones hard offering any combination of those 4 guys for either 1st round picks or solid defensive centermen. Maybe he'll keep Kuli but you know teams are asking about him. Defense is a different thing, i doubt he's shopping anyone other than Liles (Komi too but you know,, its komi no one wants that pylon). Gunnar is staying put, we just need to make room for Gards to come back. Im thinking Kostka takes a seat.

Last season, with 26 games to go, the Leafs were in 8th and 1 point up from the 9th place team. They also had two more games played than that 9th place team. (The Caps)
This season, with 26 games to go, the Leafs are in 6th and 5 points up from the 9th place team. They also have 1 more game played than that 9th place team. (the Jets). Though they're also 1 point back of the 5th seed.
