That's a weak penalty to call in a game like this. If the teams are content to just trade chances then the refs should put the whistles away. |

The NHL needs more fire wagon hockey. Today, I was watching a Leafs TV 1968 game, Leafs vs Kings, man it was all end to end rushing, so wide open. Even the Leafs d men all had room to roam up the ice. No fukken neutral zone trap, none of the play getting bogged down. It was like.....what real hockey was meant to be. How did the NHL game become so crap as compared to it's awesome past? |

Even the Leafs d men all had room to roam up the ice. No fukken neutral zone trap, none of the play getting bogged down. It was like.....what real hockey was meant to be. How did the NHL game become so crap as compared to it's awesome past?
