I'd be happy if Calgary gets Statsny.

If your theory is correct- explain why Sherman sounded like someone sat on his puppy during the presser?

- FLflames34

because he was covering up collusion which happens all the time between gms....you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours in the future and we'll make it look like we're uninformed under the guise of the new CBA and everyone will believe it....example: if collusion didnt exist, why are so many players signed july 1st?..it takes time to put a multi-million dollar contract with all it's perks together in negotiation...you think negotiations started july 1st and they sign the guy within hrs?..think about it.....just sayin......ROR wanted something like 5 @25...he ended up with 2@10 with 6.5 deferred to year 2...only because of a so called offer sheet that made ROR poop or get off the pot...think about it...just sayin

ROR turned down 4 other offers. So there's at least 4 other idiot GM's...
- whipper334

Yep, if 4 other teams made offers then they should all be criticized the same. I thought EK only posted that there was interest so I didn't know there were actually other offers.

According to TSN he turned down 4. Speculation one was from Van and one from Philly. The other 2 who knows. That was only speculation though.

Give Feaster a break? He's an NHL GM, who has a single-digit IQ... I think he's already had his share of breaks.

gillis stated that RoR's agent had been asking the nucks to submit an offer for weeks but gillis knew that col would match.

he said, it was pointless b/c they weren't going to get the player so why submit the offer.

this was in a radio interview before the waiver discussion started so he was not asked if he knew about that condition.

stop. there is no room for logic here.

remember this is the place that people speculate that feester did this as a favour to the av's. yup. the flames are going to help a division rival that they need to beat to make the playoffs. i mean, it's not like intra-divisional play will be even more important next year due to realignment.

and RFA doesn't need to if he resigns with his own team, or if he is traded to another team. However an offer sheet is treated like a UFA transaction in which the rule is a player must be placed on waivers.
