nhl networks says hit clean - 2Real
technically it wasn't because his feet did come off the ice, barely, just before impact. i don't think that part of it, the way it happened, really made any difference and doesn't make it dirty. it's not like he targeted the guys head from 10 feet, lept in the air and drilled him. i'd feel the same way if the situation were reversed. |

Harry, Harry, Harry. It's not rocket science son. Keep your damn skates on the ice. If you need a lesson in this watch how Schenn and Grossmann do it. If McGinn isn't ready to go, whats wrong with giving Wellwood a shot on the 4th line. He'll give you just as much speed as Harry Z without the dumb penalties. |

Clean hit. Case closed. Lineup spot cemented. - PLindbergh31
You got the previous Harry Z hit wrong, and you got this one wrong also. He's going to be suspended and rightly so.

Have some pride Rick, hang em up already. |

I'm impressed with the way they play. For all the reasons you listed this team should not be this good.
I am a fan of Bishop though. This guy could start on some teams if you ask me. - stveshdy
Bishop is solid. And Lehner is a hell of a prospect as well. He played a great game in Boston Thursday night. Sens have 3 very capable goaltenders. Would make sense for them to trade one. |

At fast speed I thought the hit was clean. Watching the replay he does leave his skates. Very close hit but I can see him getting suspended. |

MacLean is no joke as a coach, they play this way every game. Not the most talented, especially with the injuries. Interesting note, Luke Richardson is the Bingo coach. He and MacLean employ the same systems on purpose, same practices. Makes it a smoother transistion for call-ups. |

I would move Anderson if I was Ottawa. Stock is sky high and he's older than both guys. Ottawa has a solid team but may be a few years away from being a legitimate contender. |

Exactly what I mentioned earlier. It may not happen until the draft, but a healthy Anderson and Lehner, and Bishop will likely be dealt. He could definitely start for numerous teams right now. |

His feet left the ice before the contact, though. That's the dividing line. |

may not have been premeditated murder, but certainly wasn't "clean" |

And also how he crouched low and launched into the hit. Good call on the ice, and he'll be getting a phone call from Mr. Shanahan.

I heard that about Mike Smith also. Some players come on later in their careers. |

And as soon as his suspension is over, he should get a call from Mr Holmgren, telling him what time his bus for Glens Falls is leaving. |

Sens have an embarrassment of riches between the pipes. I'm intrigued by this kid Bishop. 6'7" and very athletic with good mobility for his size.
At his size, if his technique is sound, he gives shooters very little net. |

You would think they would look to move one of them. Having all 3 isn't maximizing their value. |
