Ottawa has got to be tired. Still missing at least three key players.

3 road games in 4 days including a tough afternoon game against Philly yesterday.

If Isle dont win this one. Their toast.

- SCLI

Even if they win it they're toast. They don't have the horses for this race.

Well, the Isles are healthier then Ottawa. More rested and playing at home. Everything is tipped in their favor this afternoon. They should win as Jimmc says. By at least 3 goals.

I dont expect this game to change anything either. Yea they are still toast regardless of a W or an L

It sucks, would love to have faith in this team but you can't. There's just not enough to them. No depth whatsoever. Too many holes. I wonder if they could compete in the AHL let alone the NHL?

I agree. I just think today will be one of those games that the Isles look good. Snow and Cappy will be saying I told you so and for one more day the team will fool itself into believing they are contenders.

Isles couldnt have a more "ripe for the picking" opponent for this afternoon.

I'll be shocked if we lose.

It tough to compete when every team in your division spend double your payroll.

As of right now... the Isles could potentially spend close to $40 million on salaries next year.

And that is including Yashin and DP!!!

Hopefully the new owner will @ least spent $ 50 to $55 million on salaries.

I'm sure Wang will work out a deal with the new owner... on the new owner paying out Ricky...

If Tavares is out of the lineup today due to being under the weather as was tweeted, I'm not even going to watch it.

I'd watch it for that alone. Like to see him get a shot playing with decent line mates minus KO of course, one decent game does'nt make a player. OK, everyone can start attacking me now

a 3:00 gam at home does not look good for us. Ottawa wins 5-2.

Forgive them the money owing, in return they give the county the property one year early.

Wang sells the team to pay back the $75 million dollar loan.

Wang has to make the move this year... too much money owing.

Their roster is probably at $36 million... and the cap floor is $44 million.

Borrow from Peter to pay Paul!!!

he can just default on the Marriott loan, it doesn't matter nay more to him, the Hotel is worthless to him if his team is in Brooklyn.

How do you see that working??? Nassau doesn't want them to leave, not by a long shot... they dont want to build them a new building, but they absolutely do not want them to leave.... so why would they excuse the money owed to them, so that we can leave early?? It doesnt make sense.

If we are going to leave a year early.. Nassau will want ALL money owed, then no doubt add up how much the isles have made Nassau the last 5 years, avg that out to one season, & an early out payment.

"Brock Nelson scored the game-winner with 3:33 left in regulation, Jack Combs posted three points and Rick DiPietro made 22 saves as the Sound Tigers beat the Phantoms 4-3 in Saturday night."

Nice Bounce back Rick!!

Let up some iffy goals, but made a couple of nice stops too, and after a shaky first, the team seemed to rally around DP and help him out a lot more. They only gave up 11 shots through the second and third periods after 14 in the first. Nelson's goal at the end was really nice. Good stretch pass from Donovan too.

Damn where was my head?

Between periods on the Ottawa feed. They pretty much reiterated what was said during the Toronto feed the other day.

Isles in discrete discussions with Nassau over the lease.

They expect the Isle to be playing in the Barkley Center by 2014!
