Never forget that night - kind of traumatic for me. I was seven and fell asleep after the game. My dad left me sleeping with the TV on and I woke up with the ugly toothy witch thing from The She Beast staring at me...nightmares for weeks.

Best player i ever saw was Gretzky. I'm 35. If Suter never happened in the 1991 Canada Cup, Gretz would've easily hit 3000 points.......probably would've won a cup in LA. He turned two 40 goal scorers into 70 goal scorers, he simply dominated. And I say that as an avid Gretzky hater.

My dad used to say Orr was the best player he ever saw up until about 5 years ago. He also hated Gretzky, then he sort've changed his tune, said quite honestly, you could go either/or in picking one or the other. And he was one of the biggest Orr fans I ever knew.

Depends, are hits from behind allowed? Don't think Gretzky ever got nailed cutting through the middle, the only hit that ever got him was that dirty one in Maple Leaf Gardens......plus I'm sure if you look hard enough you can find enough video of them matching up against each other.

I assume your talking about nazzy... Ive never seen anyone do what he does.. Kid has unbelivable hands. He doesn't have the speed like Sid or Geno to split the D, but he makes up for it in a nice shot, as we saw last night..
