No I think he even made up for the shots he missed in those 4 games |

The hawks are blowing my mind right now. At this point I'm actually rooting for them to see how far they can go haha |

It's bound too. Step is obviously someone Torts likes a lo t and trusts. Look at his ice time this year. He will have a similar case as O'Reilly. He has alomst as many points (105 to 107) in 54 fewer NHL games (not counting tonight). - gkmkiller
Glen, we win a game, score 4 goals, and you are trading away forwards already?
Jeez you guys, show some damn pessimism. |

I traded someone? Not Step. I did suggest that I would at least listen on Gaborik if I could get back a legit top-4 D and a top-9 F with the same or less cap commitment in return. |

that was a thorough ass beating
they were not easy to play against, and there was even a fight.....1st in 6gms. last season we led the league. I think thats important.
no doubt injuries slowed this team up as well
richards is going no where, hes torts boy......i keep seeing people wanting to just dump him. absurd. maybe hes an amnesty buyout in the summer? lets see what he does the rest of the way.
Nash. period.
all they need to do is get in the playoffs. with that effort lastnight, they get in no problem |

Most complete game I've seen the Rangers play in YEARS! Total clinic on how to dominate in that first specifically. Loved Carl's play & that first goal was old school, approach the net & FIRE! Nash comes back & scores, nothing negative really at all to say about last night. Lets just keep it up, wish we played again tonight, instead 2 days off. |

I just said there were no negatives about last night, there was one in my opinion. Bickel made a terrible decision in engaging Cronbeem in that scrap. They had all the momemtum, nothing was too be gained by a fight. That's where you just say, "next time." Fortunetly it didn't hurt us but Stu has to be smarter on that front. |

Hags is hands down my favorite Ranger, by far the faster skater in the league |

Hagelin and Nash have a great chemistry, Nash brings out the best in him.
Rick Nash is just an incredible hockey player, if the Rangers turn this around and he stays healthy, there isn't anyway he won't be mentioned in the Hart talk.
That was right up there with one of the best games I have ever seen a Ranger play last night, Nash was that insane. |

Yep, they created scoring chances every shift. Nash is a beast. Pretty much every game he makes a move that wows you. Richards had his best game of the year last night imo. Absolutely dominated in the faceoff circle. The entire team was very strong on faceoffs actually. |

I was thinking that watching Nash last night. Very Jagr-esque quality to his game, big, strong on the puck, capable of taking you're breath away on any given shift. So glad he's ours. |

Team sucks! Can we fire Torts, buy-out Richards, and trade Nash back to Columbus for Dubinsky and Anisimov yet? |

What happened to this crazy condensed schedule we were supposed to have? Rarely back to back games. Lot of multiple days off in a row.
Good thing still too is the rest of the division has played more games than us. We have 3 games in hand on Philthy. |

I'm sure Chris Erwin will find a negative to stick on Torts today. |

the Penguins have been losing without Malkin, I wonder if fans are clamoring for Bylsma's head?

Like I said, other than Bickel picking the worst time to go with a fight, they played a perfect game. Even Richards looked better. |

Richards looked like the pressure was off him a bit.
I think he is much better off not being expected to be the best forward on the team, and Nash thrives on being that.
Just keep shooting, all I know is if we are shooting, the other team ain't scoring. |

Bottle what they did last night & let it be the blueprint for the remainder of the season. |
