Man once Miller gains some more experience look out, you can see his drive/skill level |

He looks really strong on the puck, willing to shoot. They should give him more PP time |

The whole team came out looking to shoot. Richie, Hagelin, and Gaborik had 3 shots each in period one and Nash had four. |

Yea Boyle should watch and learn from him how to get on the puck lol. Miller still makes a few bonehead decisions but hes young and learning. Love the energy he brings. |

That's a big goal. I'd be kind of worried if we went to the third up only 2-1. |

I think he wanted to wait for it to cross the line but didn't want to risk it haha |

Ah, scorers got it right anyway. Staal with the goal. Miller with an assist. |

Yeah. Saw that. Rosen and Michelletti gave it to Cally. I was kidding anyway. |

I'll put this out there only because I love what Nash is able to do in this lineup: Maybe if the right trade comes along I'd trade Gaborik. What about this: If San Joe were to approach and say we'll give you Ryan Clowe and Dan Boyle for Gaborik and a prospect and/or draft pick. We have enough cap space to make that deal and would actually save $800K on next year's cap (difference in Boyle's and Gabby cap hit). Gives us depth on blue line and another guy that has multiple 20-goal seasons on his resume. We may lack that elite second goal scorer but we'd still have enough depth to roll 3 solid lines that can score and Nash is the difference-maker Gabby isn't every game. |

If Hagelin, Callahan, and Miller keep playing like they are tonight, Gaborik will fall further on the depth chart. |

I'm serious. I love Gabby but Nash makes this a different team. He impacts the lineup more than Gabby. Imagine a D core with Staal, Girardi, McD, Boyle, Stralman and MDZ. Plus Boyle might help the PP. He knows the Torts way of playing. Clowe isn't afraid to play physical. He already has 68 PIM. Maybe he adds some toughness too. Just a thought to ponder. |

I have always loved Dan Boyle. Would love him QBing the Rangers powerplay.
Plus he is a right handed shot, which Jimbo loves |

That six-man group would be great. Stralman has been playing top-four but he'd be on 3rd pair with MDZ. That's solid. Three lefites with three righties. Perfect balance. |
