Milbury probably just wants to trade Ovechkin for Mark Parrish and Oleg Kvasha. |

We need a 2nd line that can score, and i'd prefer to see Kesler anchor a great 3rd line. - golfingsince
i'd prefer him to play rw.
booth _____ kesler would be a great line with a playmaking centre. weiss? |

sadly i wouldnt even do that anymore, 3 years ago id say god i wish we;d have to add so much to it
the guy has been exposed and hasnt adapted - nightmare3020
Couldn't agree more, he never adapted to the changes other teams made to stop him and now he's paying the price through his stats, and winning. It will be a real test of his character to see if he can ever rebound or will ever rebound. And it definitely won't happen with play like he showed in the Milbury clip. Even if those are snap shots of a "better" game he played. To dive like he did (seen 3 year olds with better acting) and the very lackadaisical defence is disgraceful not just as the star player but as the Captain of the team who is supposed to be leading his team in how to play, and how to win. It's going to be interesting to see what happens to him this year and next |

still have to admit that ovechkin is playing lousy hockey. - Fountain-San
Ya, true enough. Still have to admit that Milburry has no business still being part of the game in any capacity . |

Milbury hasn't hammered anyone like this since he beat up that 12 year old kid who was tuning his son. |

DTC wants that, me not so much. I'll never underestimate Kesler's abilities as a shut down C. |

This is an awful display of hockey by Alexander Ovechkin. He should be ashamed of himself. A blind pass, eight-year-olds don't do this in the offensive zone. And if they do, I beat them up.

what's (or who's) that?
i still think that kesler can be an effective defensive player without being the centre.
my bottom line is that i don't like him carrying the puck as much as he does. anything that reduces that (even if he stays at centre) is fine by me.
i want him to have a playmaker on the line who will feed him and booth. if you can find a playmaking winger, so much the better. |

Well, after all it was just a kid Ovechkin is definitely fair game for criticism, but it's tough to listen to it from Milbury - he was killing Ovechkin during the MVP years. Listening to Milbury is like listening to Matt Millen provide analysis during the NFL draft. |

shea weber for AO only trade i could see as a even swap in contract and talent it would be a win for both i would think and it would address both teams needs. |

And Ek had Ovechkin going to Nashville about 4 years ago, so he could claim that he had this one first ! |

my favourite hockey night in canada hotstove moment was a heated exchange between milbury and healy. milbury was going off on gm's giving out long term expensive deals. healy brought up the yashin deal. i swear, i thought mad mike was about to have an embolism and/or strangle heals. |
