I don't think he gets the status that Rommel does. Rommel is often made out to be far and away the best general of WW2. - golfingsince
Meh it's a hard thing to pin down, some people (frank)ed up really hard to later do great things like Monty and his dumbass Market Garden, or Vasilevsky and the siege of Leningrad, or Bradley and Wake Island. Bloody war and nobody remained perfect, though I'd given Rommel extra points for being in on the Hitler assassination plot |

Patton was good too and Mark Clark. Monty was overrated. |

Oh yeah I always take the movies with a grain of salt. But I always thought that 'one guy has the gun and the other the bullets' thing to be real. Same with the machine gun only bearded by the officers at the back that would shoot the cowards. |

*conspiracy theory mode*
Colorado's GM wanted this to happen so he could get him signed and not give in to his demands. O'Rielly gets his money and Whatchamacallit didn't cave until his hands were tied.
*exit conspiracy theory mode*
Whatchamacallit couldn't get it done and this looks bad on him. |

Living room, ¾ snapped.
Apparently I leapt over the coffee table pulling a 180º with a beer in hand without spilling a drop. |

Obviously he didn't because Habs/Leafs games don't matter. Come on Peanut follow the program. |

No they matter when Montreal wins. When the Leafs win it's a meaningless game between two bad teams.
YOU GET WITH THE PROGRAM. |

I remember that, (frank)ing arrogant douches
I did like who real "Patton" felt, that's a war movie I can get behind, most of it taken from his personal files. |
