Question.......
IF RoR had gone into waivers, I'm assuming he would still be without a contract by the team that picked him up..... right?
And if that is the case, then the new team would need to try and sign him as a RFA |

No, he'd have the contract Calgary offered him. |

Then that leads to this........ which team from the bottom feeders would actually take on that contract.
6.5 mil for essentially 4 years, the way I understand it. Factoring in that the new team would have to qualify once this deal expired. |

So...apparently there's rumour on the twitternets that Colorado has yet to even file their notice of matching the offer sheet? This could get really nasty for Calgary now, if that's the case....thought I suspect Colorado would still match despite the recent news coming out. They want ROR under their control, and to move him on their terms. |

I wonder....if Colorado technically was in 30th place.....could they reclaim him right after not matching? Now i'm just getting all ridiculous in this thread.... |

I would say Columbus would be interested. Would be a good piece along with their ***THREE*** first round picks this year to be in a good place 2-3 years from now. |

For some reason your word "apparently" had me reading your entire post impersonating Yan from Yan Can Cook. Thank goodness it's Friday. |

Kessel's not your typical scorer. He can score from far out/weird angles because he's accurate, and has an insanely fast, sneaky shot. Even from far out, goalies won't see the puck until it's in the back of the net.
The problem is, usually he's mixing it up, he'll snipe one from a weird angle one play, and drive the net the next. Now he's being too consistent with trying to get it in from the outside, so the goalies are expecting it more.
The bigger problem is, last few game's he's just been lazy. Needs to dial up the intensity. Maybe Kadri should share his coke stash. - Feeling Glucky?
This is an extremely convoluted way of saying he is shooting from stupid angles and long distances. |
