Both goalies are garbage, I personally think Scrivens is a touch better then Reimer. Or maybe it just seems that way this season because Scrivens was actually playing during the lockout. If only Scrivens could clean up the rebounds. I swear Reimer is just terrible or paid to throw the game...I cant recall 1 play last night where he played the puck without the puck ending up on an islanders stick and often in front of the net!!!

And Reimer at his worst the last 3 seasons is still better than Gustavsson at his best. 2 games in Detroit, don't change the fact that with the same team in front of them, Gustavson was much worse than Reimer.

won't be a "sit" - somebody has to be traded or sent down for each guy who returns. And only 2 guys who can be sent to AHL are Kadri (not happening) or Holzer (likely). But that only makes a spot for Frattin. Somebody else has to be removed from Roster for Lupul and for Gardiner.

One thing I disagree with: MacArthur shouldn't be on the shut-down line.

He doesn't play a defensive game, if we did that, the 4th line would need to get more defensive starts, and we'd have 3 lines of offense.

Lupul should play with Grabo and keep Mac on the Kadri line I guess..funny every time I start cursing Mac and tell everybody how much of a boob he is..he starts playing better...maybe I will keep trashing him and he will keep looking ok!

Barring a trade that I don't see happening, I think Stekel is the odd man out and gets waived...possibly McClaren, but the other night it was mentioned that he was told to find a permanent place to live vs. the hotel he was staying in. Don't think you tell a guy that if you plan to waive him a week later.

Also, they could make Gunnarsson get surgery and put him on LTIR to clear up a spot.

highly doubtfull, especially given the housing thing like you mentioned. Steckel possibly.

Gunnar thing seems like a stretch. Seems they feel he's one of their best 6. If not, they'd already have him getting surgery and bring up Frattin.
