what? I don't agree..but whatever...Scrivens handles the puck 100x better than Reimer..so what does that say about Reimer? Reimer doesn't have rebounds they just go right by his glove.
- Garnie

I have to disagree...

Reimer looked pretty shaky handling the puck last night i'll give you that... but Scrivens is by no means any better

Oh my god, I can't believe I haven't been using that.

Sorry to whomever came up with the Farnsworth nickname, but from this day forward, he is Mr. Phantastic.

I think you better watch Scrivens play the puck...but I agree we need to let Reimer make a run...but if he drops the ball even for a second..I would have Sciv's right back in there...couple of Scrivens losses..the leafs played like peewee's in front of him...last night leafs give Reim's 4 and he still let in a really crummy one!!!! Phaneuf shouldn't have fought him right then and there but a little later on, he should have done something to spark the team. If that meant beating the hell out of Prust at another time, then so be it. But the Leafs were, as Carlyle said, flat and it's Phaneuf's job as a leader to do something to wake the team up. That's what leadership is. Leading by example. Phaneuf doesn't do that. In fact, when the Leafs play bad, he's usually the one leading the charge of bad play.

Phaneuf, instead of sparking his team, did the complete opposite. He was trying to land a big hit all game and missed every single one putting himself out of position. The simplest of passes turned into turnovers or giveaways that ended up in the back of the net.

The Leafs beat the hell out of the Habs last time but this time, they lost without a fight, both figuratively and literally. Consistently inconsistent.

what scares me is how close that list was to being 3 former leafs! Tlusty trade was stupid too, welcome to toronto where if you're not a star by age 20 you're a bust!

Gustavsson i could still live without though he would steal a game every once in a while. but most times it was score the first goal and get the next 3 free!

Reimer was shaky, but keep in mind, it was his first game back and I imagine he's adjusting.

Now, enough of the goalies, props to Atomic Wedgie for keeping the Kadri bandwagon going, now I expect everyone to say a nice thing about our new superstar. I'll get it going...... He's so dreamy!

Both goalies are garbage, I personally think Scrivens is a touch better then Reimer. Or maybe it just seems that way this season because Scrivens was actually playing during the lockout. If only Scrivens could clean up the rebounds. I swear Reimer is just terrible or paid to throw the game...I cant recall 1 play last night where he played the puck without the puck ending up on an islanders stick and often in front of the net!!!

yes needed to get Orr off his line...I like Orr/McClaren with whomever on the 4th Steckel/McClement - Kadri needs a little more then Orr on the wing. IMO

I think Scrivens looks 100% better than last year..he is getting comfy...holds his freakn glove proper now...sure he's had some rebound probs...some of those rebounds are going to be rebounds on any goalie in the league..but I do agree some of the soft ones he should be gobbling them up. He's certainly playing better than the Monster did here...guaranteed..but so is the whole team..most nights

Ya, he must be pretty pissed at Burke for not only letting him keep his job for about 2 years longer than he should of.. but also signing him to a nice extension just before firing him so he could be paid while he sits at home.
