what about watching the game while drinking on the patio
- bobbyisno1

there is a bar in London called the Ale house that actually has a projection screen on their patio and they play the games out there so people can be outside.

its pretty sweet.

its pretty much how me and my friends watched the entire Boston Vancouver cup final

And the linesmen went back to their usual ways of throwing out at least 2 guys at each faceoff before dropping the puck...

It works for him right now. Leave him where he is with who he is. Because Kessel is slumping is not a reason to (frank) around with Kadri. Kessel needs to find the solution by himself. Kadri doesn't need to be put in a situation like that.
- Pecafan Fan

Kessel just needs another center. Any other center at this point works for me. (frank) i'd even try Steckel there. Bozak just brings nothing to the table. Face offs sure, but thats it.

You do if you're in an office.

Trust me on this. It came as a surprise to me, too.

I'm so tired of it. Just drop the puck.

They drop it when they shouldn't and then don't drop it when they should. Why is that so hard? 2 guys come together put their sticks on the i e throw the freakin puck down. So simple.

Kadri's just 10 points out of top in the league.

So we can expect him there by Wednesday.

I somewhat understand the logic of playing him less against the other teams 2-3 lines helps build his confidences..blah blah blah. But at what point do you simply say he is currently our best player, and deserves more ice time. Can't hold his hand too much longer. If he does struggle, then cut him back to the current ice time/line. Plus the other teams are going to catch on and start matching their better D against him..that is what they did when Mac/Grabo/Kuli were flying a few seasons ago, and Kessel was struggling.
- vermie22

This points out the importance of the other two lines producing - they have to get it going to "protect" that 3rd line a bit. Regardless it is going to get tougher for Kadri, but I think it's wise to try to ease him into that larger role - if they can afford the luxury.

Well they need to get their name mention too so they feel important. It's because absolutely pathetic trying to watch face offs and they are exactly entertaining anyways now I have to deal with this bullpoop.

Most surprising team stat of young NHL season? How about CHI and TOR tied for the league lead with nine road wins each.

Only difference is the jersey the hitter/receiver were wearing and the call that was made.

One is a 5min major, the other goes unpunished. Consistency would be nice.

Exactly. I really think the majority of fans had no issue with either hit.

Last couple of games he;s really regressed.

Atleast earlier he was putting up assists and driving the net. Now he's taking his annual break from the game. Carlyle's gonna need to fix that trend.

There's a little bar in the marina area of Puerto Vallarta called Chappy's. Beer is cheap, the food is a step above disgusting, and as you sit on the patio in your shorts and golf shirt, watching the Leafs, the sun glimmers off the jillion dollar yachts and beyond to the golden mountains in the background.

It's Wedgie's happy place.

On a side note...so much for this so called hybrid no-touch icing. I think I saw it called once or twice in the first game of the season, but never again since.

The Leafs have a few days off now to get things recalibrated all around. And give Reimer a little more time to heal, because he did not look 100%, probably more due to a little rust. Scrivens will probably play against NJ as well, so he's got 5 days or so...

It's the problem with developing players in the NCAA instead of the CHL.

They think they are entitled to some time off in February.

They didn't implement it.
