The only team more stupid than the Flames, is Colorado. They could have gotten a top 5 pick for Ryan O'Reilly and they matched! What a stupid move by them!

And saved some money too... what do they get now for an offer sheet.. a couple of firsts and a second?

Anyone have an idea of how many games the Leafs play against teams who are on the second game of a back-to-back for the rest of the season?

How many he score today cause I saw a bunch of open nets he missed.. or fired straight at the goalie... he has Komarov's hands without the checking game...

I would've been plus 4 playing with Kadri tonight... just saying...

So the answer to your question is he plays with Kadri..

- DoctorNHL

His plus minus if he plays will end as soon as Frattin gets back... He is a career minus player.... even with the great season with Grabo... & riding Kadri's coat tales...

I do believe that the Leafs have played more road games them any other team. If they can start winning their home games, they might be able to actually make it in. It's a 26 game sprint to the finish.

I really hate how they protect the SE division... with a 3rd place standing... I appreciate the rule was initially in place to protect teams that play in harder divisions.. but all it has done... is bring up that lousy division... Carolina should be behind the Leafs... it is BS.. hopefully it will be gone in the new realignment...

Calgary has blown their big lead in Colorado and look dead in the water. Hey Colorado, if the draft where tomorrow, Calgary would probably be picking at 5. Stupid move of the year, so far.

Also Grabo & Kuli usually play against the other teams top line... which is much harder than the competition MacA gets...

It's a joke that often leads to 4th and 5th place teams having to face harder competition in the playoffs than the 6th place team.

In essence the 6th place team gets rewarded for finishing lower than the 4th and 5th place teams. It makes no sense.

Yeah but Calgary needs help now... not in the next few seasons.. so I can understand why they made the offer sheet.

Calgary is the worst runned team in the league. Feaster was supposed to fix it. He's done nothing but make it worst. I cant believe that they havent rebilt yet. It is beyond my comprehension.

Yeah the Kessel line has had issues the last couple of games... good to get support from the other lines.. unfortunately against the Habs they didn't...

It is all down to him.. at any point he can correct those areas I talk about... like I said his offensive zone positioning is one of the best on the team... he is just a soft player.. and won't up it... that is why he has been moved before and will do again.. glad he is raising plus minus.. it can hopefully.. fool someone into a stupid trade.

They should have waited the full week, then taken the picks. It would have been 4 more games off of the schedule for the Flames, without O'Reilly in the lineup. It could have gotten them a better pick.

It's not as bad as Buffalo matching the Vanek offer sheet but still pretty bad. I guess the Avalanche are okay with paying him the 3.5 million this year and will try to move him next year, if they can, if it's allowed.

I wouldnt pay 5 mil for O'reilly anyways. Let Calgary take on that contract. He's not worth it

Negative vibes man... negative vibes

Say we trade him for a 2nd... Then Kuli komarov or frattin goes down to injury.. then we have to rely on Orr playing 3rd line minutes., or call up a Hamilton or D'amigo

What if that pick becomes MacKinnon, Druin or Monahan? Would Calgary look stupid after that. Colorado just saved Calgary from looking like idiots.

I know everybody is giving $hit to reimer on that fourth goal but as a goalie, if a defensemen puts his stick in the way and you don't see the puck come off the blade of the stick cause its hidden behind your d-mans stick....... it completely f%#$cks you...... no other way to say it. Throws off your timing, throws off where you're anticipating the puck is going to go.

I'm not saying Reimer had an amazing performance but to say that was an easy save, it clearly wasn't. Whenever you put your stick in the way, you better make damn sure you deflect it or you're handcuffing the $hit out of your goalie

Nothing I hate more than not being able to read the puck off a blade of a stick when it's released.
