Not a lot, but I wouldn't just give Mac away for a 7th rounder like you're claiming. IF Frattin comes back and fills a role similar to Mac, and the Leafs are fading a bit near the deadline....sure i'd look at moving Mac, but other than that i'd hold on to Mac. I like his game, obviously you don't, that's fine, just think he's worth more than just giving away.

I see your viewpoint also... but getting rid of those two salaries has some benefits also.. I think Frattin has already won that job.. it really comes down to.. do you play Komarov or Mac and I would play Komarov...

See the one problem about trading a centre is once you trade one away you are one injury away from being depleted at that position. Rather just keep grabo for depth.

He is sitting too deep... has to come out a bit more.. he was doing it more before the injury... but has reverted to deeper play probably not to get bumped as much... maybe some concerns in his mind with the knee still... that is why I think we should go back to Scrivens and ease Reimer back in until he picks up the ball again..

They wont want grabo or his contract if they are trying to get rid of stastny and his contract. They will have Duchene and ORielly running the 1st and 2nd line duties.

More likely theyd want a winger or a D-men. Komi/Connolly they will not want at all. Liles or Macarthur will attract interest within a deal including one of them in it.
