Amazing what Kadri can do when given the ice time instead of 9 minutes a night.

He seemed to wobble off at some point.. Bowan said it looked like he hurt his knee.. the ice time might have been a precaution... Carlyle is big on rewarding performers... so he definitely would've had more ice.

Hopefully he is ok...

A good 3 days off to re-charge the batteries. The guys have been playing with alot of effort and have dropped off the last few games

Holzter or Fraser imo. I was thinking Kostka prior to this game, but he had a decent game. Knowing RC though, doubt anything happens on the back end.

Agreed.. but last time they had a break they came back rusty.. hopefully they keep on the cycles and don't allow the lactic acid to build up.. this shortened season is like the playoffs....

It shows the folly, of having two guys that sit in the press box, night after night and not having fresh players in back to back games. This didn't have to necessarily have to get to overtime, if we'd had two fresh players to put into the lineup tonight. Having Komisarik and Lilles not playing is hurting this team. Time to open up some roster spots, so we can start using the whole 23 man roster.

I don't know about you guys, but my favourite D-pairing so far this year has been Franson-Fraser.

Love their game together...
