If anyone asks, we were just trying to make it an interesting game for the fans in Long Island.
We're trying to help save hockey down there. - Leeman4Gilmour
That's just stoopid.
It's Ek's job to save hockey. |

Glad this pond hockey poop defense display ended in a win. Man that was some brutal defending from all sides - AdamFrench
It was terrible defense, but it wasn't even that exciting for a 9 goal game.
Kadri aside, that was a pretty tame 5-4 win. Pond hockey makes me cringe (because it never works for us), but that wasn't even good pond hockey. |

So were the Refs... with their whistles in their pockets... high stick on Kessel gets overlooked.. if that was the Montreal Midgets it would've been a 5 min major.. or at least 4 mins...

I don't think either even team had 30 shots... it was just bad goaltending and D on both ends

I have a tough time believing that 38 people can play hockey for an hour without committing a single infraction. |

NYI seems like the only team that can light Toronto up. 7 goals in the first game, 4 in this one. - blahman20
The Leafs seem to play to their firebrand style and channel their inner Ron Wilson. |

Is Phaneuf not fighting Prust actually a thing? Hasn't Prust run away from Orr and Mclaren all season? - toskala4vezina
Dion should have told Prust, sure, I'll go, if P.K goes with Orr. |

You misunderestimate Ek.
Now tha ROR is signed, he's automatically on the trade block.
Ek hears the Flyers, Leafs and Habs are the frontrunners. e3 |
