Yeah they do, but what do you really expect? They don't have the players. What they are trying to install is a system and a mentality. Eventually, with this they will get the players.

To me Fraser has done pretty much exactly what Schenn did for us the past few seasons, at a fraction of the cost...and we have JVR now.

I credit Burke for not rushing him, but Wilson put him on the 4th line and gave him like 7 minutes per game when he was up.

Carlyle puts him in positions to succeed, whereas it seems that Wilson set him up for failure.

When he's not putting up points you'll struggle to find a more useless player in the NHL. How many times does his line get stuck in their zone because of his soft play? It's not a coincidence that he's -4 tonight and -2 tonight, nor is it a coincidence that Kessel was on the ice for more goals against than any other player in the NHL last season.

It's easy to cut players slack when they put in effort. It's much different when a player like Kessel gives the puck away up the middle in his own zone because he doesn't want to get hit along the boards.
